Twitter Tests Out Night Function On Android: Here's What It Seems like

If you are any nocturnal and like browsing Twitter during the night, then you're in fortune, as all that tweeting at night will not trouble you any further. How? Because Twitter apparently features a Night Mode in testing for the Android app, which will aid people in reading or writing during the night.

According to reports, Twitter is testing the night Mode in the newest alpha (5. 112. 0-alpha. 423) model of its Android iphone app. The mode basically swaps the white hue using a dark blue tone every an Android app for Twitter users that are on the latest alpha dog version. The lettering is white contrary to the blue background - as opposed to black on white - rendering it easier for a user to learn.

The new Night Mode for Twitter was spotted by a Huawei staff Taylor Wimberly on May well 22. He discovered the mode's existence inside the latest alpha release with the Twitter app for Android os.

The user also revealed the app reverts to the particular white color - the afternoon Mode - automatically each day. Moreover, if one wanted to switch off the Night Mode inside the app, there was no option to take action.

"Does the new Twitter Alpha use a night mode? I can't figure the way to turn it off, inches noted Wimberley, who also posted a screenshot (below) with the Night Mode in actions.

Some may remember the Android N Developer Survey 3 removed the dim mode. However, developers still have the option of letting their apps shift automatically for the Night Mode, which is hinged around the location and time zone with the app users.

The screenshot shared by Wimberley demonstrates the latest Night Mode feature for your Android app for Twitter's alpha dog version is seen working together with the Material redesign (espied in April yet to be announced from the company), which brings navigation bars for Moments, Messages, Announcements and Timeline.

Usually, Twitter is pretty discreet in terms of A/B testing, and a possibility exists it is merely testing the Night time Mode feature with select users so as to get feedback prior to technically pushing it out to all or any app users.

Whether this feature can eventually make the minimize and make its solution to the stable version regarding Twitter is anybody's imagine.
